Frequently Asked Questions

Yup! I think it’s really good.

Despite owning many original copies of the game I still prefer to use the Steam version of SA I have downgraded to v1 (DL).

Also I use a “small” collection of modifications to get rid of very common bugs or flaws.

For mod installation and management:

CLEO Library from cleo.li

LINK/2012’s Mod Loader from GTAGarage

Alci’s IMG Editor from GTAGarage

The_GTA & DK22Pac’s Magic.TXD Editor from GTAForums

Modifications:

Silent’s SilentPatch from Github

Widescreen Fix from Github

Project 2DFX from Github

The Remastered GUI Packs of Thegangstaplayer, Ezekiel and Ash_735 from GTAGarage AND GTAinside

Classic’s Remastered Interface where he put many improvements together from Anim.cc

yojo2’s HQ San Andreas Radar Map from GTAGarage.com

Zera’s HQ Weapon Icons from GTAGarage

Bridie, navetsea and elMarcoPL’s San Andreas Cutscene Characters from GTAGarage

SaH4PoK’s Water Quadrant Fix from GameModding

Modifications I do not use since I’m keeping my personal game near the vanilla experience but are worth checking out:

GInput when using a gamepad (DL), GTA:SA Beta Weapons (DL), Enterable Hidden Interiors (DL), Facial Animation Fix (DL), 60 FPS Mod (DL), SkyGfx wich is basically PS2-colors for PC (DL).

For basic scripting: Pawno which is included in the server files or available on Github.

For mapping: Generally I’m working with Fusez’s Map Editor V3 (DL) which I am running on SAMP-Server Version 0.3.7-R2 (DL) running on Ubuntu Linux with the installed plugins being maddinat0r’s sscanf2 (DL) (which is based on Y_Less’ sscanf) and samp-incognito’s Streamer Plugin (DL).

For analyzing the singleplayer map I am still using tobywob’s Map Editor (DL).

All the older stuff was made using the Multi Theft Auto Map Editor (DL).
